Look.
A few months ago I was reading Trustpilot reviews of Spanish electricity providers.
One stuck with me:
"I've filed 4 complaints and they don't respond."It was from a customer who had been paying a charge called "Protection 360" on his bill for 2 years. €4.99/month. €119 wasted. A charge he had never agreed to. And when he tried to cancel it, no one picked up the phone.
I scrolled to another review. Same problem.
Another. And another. There were hundreds.
I thought it was an Endesa thing. I checked Iberdrola. Naturgy. Holaluz. The same pattern across all of them, with similar hidden charges.
I work at the Mapfre insurance office in Rojales. For years I've been reviewing contracts and I know the pattern: they slip an additional service into a phone call you don't remember, charge you for years, and when you try to cancel, no one answers.
In insurance, we know how to deactivate it.
I started looking at electricity bills of people close to me. Almost all had hidden charges. Maintenance plans never signed up for. Insurance policies that protected nothing. Things the customer accepted without realising — and kept paying for years.
And here's the thing about expats specifically: most of you have no idea this is happening, because the bill is in Spanish, the call centre is in Spanish, and nobody explains anything in plain English. Even if you suspect something is off, you don't have the tools to prove it.
That's why I now also audit electricity bills.
You send me your bill on WhatsApp. A photo is enough.
Within 24 hours, I send you back a clear breakdown in plain English: what you pay, what you should pay, how much you're overpaying. With actual numbers, no jargon.
I compare every electricity provider and tariff that fits your profile — over 30 options — and recommend the best one for YOU, not the one that pays me the highest commission. If your current provider is the best for you, I'll tell you and we'll leave things as they are.
If a switch makes sense, I handle everything. You sign a paper and within 15 days you're paying what you should.
That's where almost everyone disappears. Once they have you as a customer, you don't hear from them again until the next sales attempt.
Not me.
Every month, I review the market for you. If a better option appears, I let you know and we switch. If nothing better is out there, I leave you alone. It's 1-2 hours of my time per month — you don't have to do anything.
And if you ever have a problem with your bill, you don't call a call centre. You call me. On WhatsApp. No queues, no "let me transfer you", no Spanish-only voicemail. I already know who you are.
That's the deal.
The audit is always free. You never pay me directly. If we get you a switch that benefits you, the new provider pays me a small commission for bringing you in. If a switch isn't worth it, nobody pays anything and we leave things as they are.
Most advisors push you to switch no matter what, because they only earn if you move. I'd rather earn your trust once and keep it for years, than take a quick commission and forget about you.

I tell you and we don't touch anything. No fees. No commitment. The audit is always free.
No. Switching providers in Spain is like switching mobile providers: same cable, same coverage, different company billing you. Zero outages. Not a single second.
None with me. If the provider has any, I'll tell you upfront — and you decide.
Your bill contains public data only (CUPS code, provider name, contracted power). I don't ask for your bank details to audit it. Any change is authorized by YOU with your signature. Nothing happens without your explicit approval.
No catch. The audit is always free — you never pay me. When you switch providers, the new one pays me a small commission for bringing you as a customer. And if there's no real saving for you, we don't switch and nobody pays anything.
Even more so. Empty property = you keep paying the fixed power charge regardless. Most second homes are massively over-contracted on power. Reducing this alone often saves €200-300/year — money you're throwing away on a bill you barely use.
Both. If you have natural gas, I audit it together with electricity. If you have solar panels, even more important: surplus compensation rates vary massively across providers (from €0.02/kWh to €0.10/kWh — five times the difference). Most expats with solar are losing money without knowing it.
Snap a photo of your latest bill now. 30 seconds. Send it on WhatsApp and in 24 hours I'll respond with a clear diagnosis: what you pay, what you should pay, how much you're overpaying. The audit is always free. If there's real saving, I'll handle the switch. If not, you stay where you are.
Send me your bill on WhatsApp →P.S. — A switch takes 15 days to complete. In 15 days you could be paying €30-50 less every month. Every month you don't send me your bill is €30-50 you're losing. That's maths, not advertising.
If you happen to be in the lucky 27% who already pay the right amount, even better: I'll confirm it in 5 minutes and we go our separate ways. But if you're in the 73% who overpay without knowing, this doesn't fix itself. You have to send it.
